Dixon Transition Society
The Dixon Society has been a safe haven for women and children since 1973 in the lower mainland. The society helps to reduce the impact of domestic violence by providing a safe home, transitional housing program, counselling and a range of continuous support for women and children to live a life free from violence.
Andrew and his wife Crystal have been supporting the Dixon Society since 2013, donating a total of $25,000 to date. Their contributions have assisted projects such as a new playground at the main support home, upgrading the kitchens for the families, and more. They have also provided donations in kind by donating 111 children’s clothing items. Having a young family themselves, they wanted to ensure that when the children make a transition over to the Dixon Society there is always a new, warm pair of pajamas waiting for them. Andrew and Crystal look forward to providing future donations to support this great cause.
